Music Videos are not new but the concept of using the concept for special events, promotions, and to highlight your organization is rapidly gaining momentum. They can be themed or not but the emphasis is on an unmistakable entertainment experience that will enhance your image in the mind of all who watched and listened. Most of the time (see samples) the music selections had nothing whatsoever to do with the event. A music video CD plays on a computer only and is viewed in full DVD resolution. For windows users a runtime player is included. For other operating systems, the bundled DVD player will usually play it just like a full DVD movie (just shorter) with stereo sound. The samples were commissioned by pageant directors and are not for sale or available to the general public. They were furnished by the directors to selected pageant participants to see if the media should be further explored. The results of the surveys so far have been a resounding "YES - please we want more - please make it available!". It is a challenge taking a 1 1/2 to 3 1/2 hour production and cutting it to 12 - 15 minutes making sure that each contestant\delegate is highlighted and interest is generated. We succeeded many times over. It is important to note that once the client decides to go commercial with a music video (or make it available to the general public). It is the clients responsibility to license the music through the appropriate organization (ASCAP and BMI are listed in the resources section).
