 |
Simple Interview - the subject simply talks to the camera as if
it were a person. Used at weddings and other events. Camera uses an external
omni directional microphone or external. This is usually the preferred type for
pageant panel interviews because it it unobtrusive and not manned.
Entrants\Delegates are not intimidated by the camera because they do not realize
that it is there. Basically at certain time intervals a fresh tape is inserted.
|
 |
One Camera Two Subjects - very useful when many interviews or
events are going on at the same time. The camera uses a zoom microphone with a
90 degree pick up setting. Many pageant systems use this type of interview in a
round robin style where the contestant\delegate\subject is interviewed one on
one with a judge and then goes to the next judge for a one to one interview at
the completion of the current one.
|
 |
Three Camera Two Subjects - The is your standard studio style
interview with each subject having one camera dedicated to them while another
camera records both of their actions. The cameras dedicated to each subject each
use a zoom microphone while the camera recording both their actions uses a zoom
microphone set to a 90 degree pick up.
|
 |
Panel Interview (4 cameras - full blown) - The panorama camera records the
subject as they enter the room (judges first opinion). The contestant\delegate
camera records their upper body and facial expressions during the process. The
right judges camera records the judges on the right as they pose questions and
comments. The left judges camera records the judges on the left as the post
questions and comments. Upon completion of the interview the panorama camera
records the subject as they exit the room.
