 | If you have a themed video - use an intro that makes it apparent |
 | If you have a logo then use a 3D Version of it as part of the intro -
don't be afraid to dress it up with some computer effects. |
 | Dress up your intro text with effects and font styles |
 | If someone is being interviewed or giving an interview - put some text on
the footage saying who they are and their title or function |
 | If you are using stock footage (B Roll) for your introduction - liven it
up by incorporating logos with effects as well as footage placed in a window
from background footage or what the viewer is about to see. Use Music! |
 | If you cannot cut the lead in to the intermission then use a special
transition that will wow the viewer and show the bridge to the next part of
the show. |
 | Transitions should be used sparingly if used at all as they are an
indication of sloppy editing |
 | Use every resource at your disposal to make sure that the finished product
is as perfect as possible and tailored to your specific audience. |
 | ATTENTION TO DETAIL - is the key to a professional
production. Never take anyone's word that the video is OK. View it - list
corrections - view again after corrections - list corrections - repeat
as necessary. Some items may not be correctable but there may be a workaround
- find it! The product reflects your professional image and reputation - make
it a good one. |
